The Clorox Model of Innovation Partnering

  Live AudioSession featuring
David Lowrance
Group Manager, Technology Brokerage
The Clorox Company

In a networked world, no single company has a corner on technology and innovation. Too much is happening in too many disparate areas for an isolated company to have a lock on tomorrow’s innovation.

Facing the competitive reality of its smaller scale, lower R&D spend and smaller patent portfolio, Clorox has chosen to meet the challenge by partnering to collaboratively develop and commercialize externally-sourced technologies essential to its innovation-driven product strategy.

So how does Clorox approach technology partnerships? What structures, processes and tools does it use to manage these relationships?

In an exclusive 90-minute audiosession (60 minute presentation with roughly 30 minutes Q&A woven throughout), David Lowrance will share The Clorox Model of Partnering for Innovation. Specifically he will discuss four major aspects:

  1. Clorox and the competitive forces that have shaped its technology partnering strategy.

  2. Clorox’s Technology Brokerage organization - how this group orchestrates technology partnerships and enables the effective use of externally developed technologies.

  3. Processes and tools used by the Technology Brokerage group to create sustainable partnerships that deliver technology and adapt to industry changes and competitive threats.

  4. Protecting the partnered technologies used in its innovations and products from competitive encroachment.

Overall this session provides an excellent opportunity to listen with others from your organization and you will have the chance to ask questions about your unique challenges.

Invite your whole team to join you - the fee is the same as long as it's on one phone line, just put it on speakerphone!
