Bringing the Value of Lean to Product Development

Live Audio-Session with

Oliver Hazimeh [BIO]

Is your company continually seeking to do more with less in product development? To increase speed, productivity, and innovation?

For decades, Lean concepts, which focus on eliminating waste and improving quality, have been a best practice for manufacturing companies.

Today Lean concepts are becoming popular outside the factory floor as companies are pushing to achieve more with fewer resources. Complex product development is one area where Lean shows especially strong potential to deliver. Today, many innovation leaders, including Boeing, Bristol Myers Squibb, Toyota and Kodak, are applying Lean Product Development. When done correctly, Lean delivers the “trifecta” of product development: speed, productivity and innovation.

In this audio-session you will learn how you can transform your product development efforts.

By participating you will come away:

  1. A model for managing lean product development

  2. The drivers for level loading input into development

  3. Workflows and value stream mapping design and development

  4. The roles of program leaders, functional managers and work groups

  5. Knowledge capture and learning

  6. Product leverage and reuse

Led by Mark Thut, Director, Product Development and Innovation Management, PRTM, this dynamic session will provide you and your team with specific tips to bring lean product development to your company.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to bring your own experiences (and questions) into the discussion and receive expert feedback. The session will be a 90-minute presentation with frequent opportunities for questions and answers.

Invite your whole team to join you - the fee is the same as long as it's on one phone line, just put it on speakerphone! This session is an excellent opportunity for everyone on your product development team to listen together. (For team members in different locations, it is well worth adding line(s).)
