The Important Role of Innovative Partnerships in Achieving Global Nutrition Goals

PepsiCo is a leading innovator and recognized for their public commitment to deliver growth by delivering nutrition for the world. Achieving these important targets is a task for more collective, innovative collaborations. To accomplish this, PepsiCo is leveraging skills and resources across PepsiCo's entire portfolio of products, its R&D expertise, marketing know-how, supply chain acumen, customer relationships and partnerships to pursue new advantaged solutions. Dondeena Bradley will discuss PepsiCo's global approach to initiating, managing and assessing the success of innovation partnerships. Citing case examples, she will highlight how PepsiCo has worked to expand its network of innovation partners to help develop integrative solutions to the growing global nutrition and health concerns.

Dr. Dondeena Bradley is Vice President, Global Design and Development, Nutrition Ventures. She is responsible for designing and developing holistic solutions that target the special nutritional needs of consumers with diverse health issues, like obesity and diabetes.

Dondeena's prior role in PepsiCo was leading the Nutrition organization which was responsible for delivering global strategies in the areas of nutrition standards, nutrient fortification, and education programs. These three areas help to increase the nutrition capability of global R&D and bolster PepsiCo's Human Sustainability Performance with Purpose agenda.

Prior to joining PepsiCo in 2007, she led the strategic marketing team accountable for the development of nutrition technology platforms and company-wide strategic planning for McNeil Nutritionals, a division of Johnson and Johnson. Previously, she held numerous roles in the areas of nutrition and health with M&M Mars, Stepan Chemical, and Campbell Soup. Dr. Bradley was also the founder of her own business focused on health called Conceptual Ventures. Dr. Bradley received her Doctor of Philosophy in food science from The Ohio State University and her Master of Science in nutrition from Purdue University. She completed her Bachelor of Science from Anderson University.
