David Palmer is a Managing Director and Sector Head of the US Consumer group at UBS. David specializes in the Packaged Foods and Restaurant sector. He was ranked runner-up in the restaurant industry category of Institutional Investor's All-America Research Team in 2009. He was also ranked number one Stock Picker in the Food Products industry and number three Stock Picker in the Restaurants industry in the 2009 FT | StarMine Analyst Awards. In his previous position, he assisted in covering the Beverage sector at UBS. Before that, David pursued corporate bond research and sales at Lehman Brothers. David began his career at General Re Financial Products as a Risk Manager. David holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Government from Cornell University.
