Overview:
CoDev is focused on presenting thought leadership and
relevant case studies on open innovation, co-development and
building networks of innovators to fuel growth. This year,
we are incorporating a unique feature into the conference,
Innovation Speed Networking, with the
goal of demonstrating the value of networks within our own
conference attendees.
This
optional event will be offered during the reception on
Monday evening, for those attendees interested in finding
new connections for their own co-development and innovation
efforts. It’s a structured approach to networking, ensuring
attendees meet the people they need to meet, and designed
specifically for CoDev08.
Who Should
Participate:
We’ve designed the event specifically for CoDev08
so it’s aimed at all of our registrants, whether large
company, emerging company, academic members
or service
providers. The event is designed to support a variety of
‘connections’ that can be made.
How it Works:
Conference registrants should sign up for the
speed-networking session at least two weeks prior to the
event. Once signed up, you will be provided with access to
an online portal where you can provide a profile of your
company and individual background. On this worksheet, you’ll
be able to share what you are looking for in particular.
Based on the collective
preferences of all the attendees, we’ll create a customized
schedule of 5 minute ‘speed-dates’ in multiple rounds in the
same reception room at individual ‘stations’. It’s high
energy, fun and amazingly effective at connecting you with
the right people at CoDev08. Beyond the event,
the online portal can be used for follow-up networking with
connections of choice.
