Recognizing the need for a more systematic approach to Open Innovation, Kraft Foods adopted a new approach for mining and mapping technology landscapes to identify high value opportunities. In this webinar featuring Linda Perucca, Section Manager, RD&Q Intellectual Property Strategy, of Kraft Foods and Barry Brager, Managing Partner of Perception Partners. Linda and Barry will discuss Kraft Foods' approach to open innovation and highlight key successes and lessons learned.

Specifically, they will discuss:
  • How, through use of mining and mapping global technology landscapes, Kraft Foods has identified innovative solutions, white spaces and potential partners in a systematic and proactive manner

  • Staging proactive scouting and screening for value creation -- aligning insights to the right team members and initiatives to solicit feedback, obtain buy-in and drive meaningful responses

  • Best practices in using technology landscaping in a systematic Open Innovation program, including: defining scope, collecting results, linking to broader business goals, and developing strategies for applying the information to open innovation initiatives throughout the enterprise

Linda and Barry will take questions from the audience and we would like to encourage dialogue during this live web event. The webinar is complimentary for past and present CoDev participants to attend and is limited to 100 participants.
